The Goodwood Festival is one of my favorite weekends of the year (one of the others is the Goodwood Revival a few months later), and in some way my enthusiasm for this event must be attributed to the area being close to my home town of Pagham where I grew up.
I have driven a great range of cars up the Hill during the event; my Le Mans winning Dodge Viper, the Corvette C5R, and even Jeff Gordon’s Daytona 500 winning car back in the late nineties!
This year I am going to be driving the ultimate Supercar from Sweden; the Koenigsegg Agera! I am pretty excited as we got to drive the Koenigsegg Trevita CCXR at Jay Leno’s Garage a few weeks ago, which was a great experience.
So I will be taking the Agera for a couple of runs each day in the Supercar/demonstration category which will be a blast.
And you will be coming along as my co-pilot as I will be shooting it for Jay as a follow up to the show he did not so long ago. So I am definitely the lucky one to get to take the car out at speed……as I am sure Jay will remind me!
If possible I will also be posting some fun blogs as well as sending www.jaylenosgarage.com some photos of my trip to put up on his site over the weekend.
